“We walk slowly because we are going very far” and "Walking We Ask Questions”. These are the words of Mexico’s Zapatista movement. Flatbread Society will take up this ethos of slow movement through the landscape with baker, Emmanuel Rang. Over four days, Further on to Land will mark the beginning of a two year journey following the French tradition of the baker/journeyperson. Spreading his knowledge and learning along the way, he will bake, repair ruined bakehouses and listen to those with whom we cross paths.

September 19
Departure at 12pm from Flatbread Society Bakehouse, Losæter, Oslo.

September 23
Arrival - Vestre Aschim, Brandbu
Return of the Rye — 12pm (Open Farm) — Return of the grains, baking workshop, celebration, music, dancing.

Unstuck

Décollage, in art, is the opposite of collage; instead of an image being built up of all or parts of existing images, it is created by cutting, tearing away or otherwise removing, pieces of an original image. The French word "décollage" translates into English literally as "take-off" or "to become unglued" or "to become unstuck”.

Let’s get unstuck together!
